สัตว์ป่าเป็นทรัพยากรธรรมชาติที่สำคัญเช่นเดียวกับทรัพยากรป่าไม้
สัตว์ป่าเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของระบบนิเวศน์ป่า ทั้งป่าและสัตว์ป่าต่างมีความ
สัมพันธ์เกี่ยวข้องเกื้อกูลกัน หากไม่มีป่าสัตว์ป่าก็ไร้ที่อยู่อาศัย
หากไม่มีสัตว์ป่า พืชป่าก็จะไม่มีสัตว์ช่วยผสมเกสรเพื่อแพร่กระจายพันธุ์ ดินจะขาดความอุดมสมบูรณ์
เพราะไม่มีปุ๋ยจากมูลและซากสัตว์ระบบนิเวศน์ของป่าจะดำเนินไปตามธรรมชาติได้อย่างสมบูรณ์ เพราะมีสัตว์ป่าและป่าจะเป็นแหล่งต้นน้ำลำธารให้ความชุ่มชื่น ร่มรื่น เป็นที่พักพิงของสัตว์ป่าต่อไป
The wild animals are natural resources and very important like forest resources. The wild animals are part of ecology system,
the forest and the wild animals are related and concern each other. If it haven't forest, the wild animals will not have the forest to live.
If it haven't the wild animals, the wild plants will haven't the animals to help them breed, the soil will not be rich 'cause
they are haven't fertilize from dung and fossil. Ecology system will completely proceed by nature 'cause the animal, and the forest will be sources of stream and will be the animals resident.
